Over the years there have been many attempts to make a multiple real estate listing service for Costa Rica. Most of these efforts have failed until recently. All of a sudden a couple of multiple listing services are being offered. The most promising of these is the The Bolsa de Propiedades de Costa Rica. When completed it will have over 4000 properties listed. Bianca Mrazova, the vice president of the Costa Rica Chamber of Realtors (CCCBR) recently stated, “ What we are offering to those interested in the local real estate market, is a tool that permits prospective buyers to chose properties in the most orderly and transparent way possible. In simple terms we are trying to open a social network for those qualified professionals who work in the business. Only certified agents will have access to this listing service.” An alliance with the world listing service or Bolsa Mundial de Propiedades is also expected. This organization has over 4 million world-wide listings. For those who are thinking of looking for the retirement property of their dreams, this new service will make the task easier than before so retirees can feel safer than ever investing investing in Costa Rica’s growing real estate market.
