I have mentioned in previous articles that on my relocation/retirement tours I include a small sampling of properties to give my clients an idea of different types of living situations. When I started my tours 17 years ago I did not include visits to homes, condos or to see property. However, at the request of former clients I now include this activity on my tour. Don't get me wrong! I am not selling property but only including visits to select properties to improve the quality of my tours and make them more complete.
Costa del Sol is one of the exemplary properties that I include on my tours. This secure gated community features homes and building sites. Some of the homes there are for sale while others are for rent for those people who want to experience the Costa del Sol lifestyle full-time or have a vacation home.
Costa del Sol is located at Playa Bejuco Beach in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica. Our visit is his hosted by Debbie Hutchins and her husband, Jim. They are wonderful people who make my guests feel right at home with their southern hospitality. On all of my retirement and relocation tours I give the participants a chance to meet people who have moved here and who are more than happy to share their experiences and anecdotes about this amazing country.
Costa del Sol is located about 20 minutes south of Jacó Beach and about a half-hour to the north of Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. The latter is the most popular National Park in Costa Rica because of its unparalleled beauty. Costa del Sol features community swimming pools, a barbecue area, a tennis court and is only a five minute walk to Playa Bejuco - a pristine beach where you can walk for miles, ride horses, surf or enjoy spectacular year–round sunsets.
