On my monthly relocation/retirement tours I show a sample of properties so that my guests can get an idea of what different housing options are available in Costa Rica. My clients view properties in the Central Valley, both the Central and South Pacific areas and the Guanacaste region on my different tours.
Recently, I have discovered an incredible property that has become a "required stop" on the Central Pacific portion of my Combination/Tour. I usually don't recommend projects but this once is exceptional and I just have to share it with everyone. I think it is right up there with Los Sueños but a lot more affordable and in an entirely different setting. Instead of being on the water it is high above the ocean in the coastal mountains. The incredible panoramic views are absolutely the best I have ever seen in Costa Rica. One can observe most of the Gulf and Peninsula of Nicoya as well as Punta Arenas, Orotina, the Tarcoles River Basin and more. All of my tour clients are simply awestruck by the views.
The project is located at a perfect elevation of between 900 and 2000 feet above sea level, which allows for spring-like temperatures during the day and cooler weather in the evening. It is so close to the warmth of the beach and yet no air conditioning is necessary.
The community is made up of 500 acres of prime ocean view luxury lots. It overlooks Carara National Park and is only 9 minutes away from the Pacific Ocean, 15 minutes from the Los Sueños Resort and Jacó Beach and about 50 minutes from western San José by the new highway 27. This provides easy access to the Central Valley's CIMA and Clínica Bíbica private hospitals, malls, good shopping, first-class restaurants, the international airport, supermarkets with U.S. products (Walmart, Automercado and Pricesmart which is our equivalent to Costco), a plethora of cultural events and many other activities for staying busy and happy while living in Costa Rica.
